VISUALmpegQUALIFY is a filebased analysis tool to ensure the quality
of video and audio assets in filebased workflows. QUALIFY is completely
software based, running ony any Windows platforms.Taking advantage of
multi-core processor architecture, VISUALmpegQUALIFY supports very fast
analysis of multiple files in parallel. VISUALmpegQUALIFY does very
comprehensive checks of video and audio content files. Video content
is checked for various parameters (e.g. blockiness, blurriness, black-
and freeze frames, video and chroma level,...). Whereas VISUALmpegVQA
is more a Tool for R&D companies doing basic MPEG and H.264 video
quality analysis of several elementary video streams, VISUALmpegQUALIFY
supports a wide variety of file formats including broadcast formats
and was designed for fully automated and high file quantity analysis
(e.g. complete Servers). QUALIFY also supports MXF containers to allow
analysis of ingested broadcast content.
VISUALmpegQUALIFY can scan entire folder of contents
specified by the users. Once the analysis of all files has been completed,
a visual summary is presented. Different colors from green to red indicating
the overall quality of the file content.
Additionally to the average quality level, the user can check the video
file for certain parameters. Logging, Warning and Alarm events can be
set up using a simple thresholds based approach.
Frame level details are generated after analysis of each content file which lets an operator drill down quickly on the erroneous frames.
VISUALmpegQUALIFY generates HTML reports summarizing the results of an asset analysis. These reports can be easily parsed and archieved for later review. These reports contains all quality results as well as the thumbnail and full frames of all errorneous frame events.
