VISUALmpeg was developed by BeSchuur. BeSchuur is located in Germany and is focused on developing sofware based MPEG Analysis Tools.
The first version of VISUALmpeg was released in 2001. In the meanwhile, more than 150 customers are using VISUALmpeg for R&D, Education or Quality Analysis.
